Crowninshield Farm

The horses are the backbone of our lesson program and camps. They all trained with natural horsemanship groundwork and saddlework that prepares them for any type of rider. They are used for trail riding and shows.
Our Horses

Dee (R.I.P)
Deedee is a 16 year old Quarter Horse who has done it all. From being the state champion in western pleasure to riding trails all over the east coast. She is a clever, intelegent mare who will take care of beginners, but challenge advanced riders. We will miss this mare.
Nico
Nico is a 16 year old Norwegian Fjord gelding. His gentle nature allows us to use him for beginner lessons as well as confidence building and therapeutic riding. He went through Clinton Anderson's 3 day natural horsemanship clinic.
Tenor
Tenor is a 16 year old welsh cob/ Quarter horse His natural habitat is at the hay feeder. He is a smooth ride under saddle and helps beginners advance to the next stage. He is advancing in his dressage career.
Luger
Luger has been a great additioin to our barn. He is still in training and for advanced riders. He has also started showing this year!
Pia
Pia is our yearling filly. This year she has started her natural horsemanship training, lunging, saddling, ponying, and has been sat on! A very smart, sweet horse.

Zephyr
Zephyr is new to our barn and is getting back to work after a few years off. She is a great lesson horse as well as a show horse.

Xenophon (Zen)
Zen was born May 2013 and will be a big boy! He is already the size of Pia, his half-sister! Zen is a very sweet boy, and a little on the lazy side.
